Chartered Physiotherapists work in co-operation with doctors, keeping them informed and referring back when necessary. AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) members have completed a ¾ year degree course to become Chartered Physiotherapists. Acupuncture training is undertaken at a post-graduate level. All AACP members are trained to give pain relief although some members may have advanced training to and can use acupuncture to treat variety of conditions such as:
- Allergies: hay –fever
- Asthma & Bronchitis
- Pain, nausea and vomiting
- Chronic Pain Syndrome: ME, Fibromyalgia
- Arthritis
- Back& neck Pain
- Headaches & Migraine
- Women’s Health
